About me

Hi, I'm Miri, I was born in Switzerland in the 90s! I have been a fashion and beauty enthusiast since my teens. I used to work in finance, but realized that the field didn't align with my true passions: fashion, beauty, art, wellness and homemaking. I quit my job to focus on my passions and travel the world. On my latest trip to the United States I ended up meeting my husband! I have been living in California for a few years now and couldn't imagine living anywhere else.

I am currently dealing with a chronic injury, due to a very unfortunate accident in 2023 where my foot was run over. Treatments have not fully brought me back to normal, despite my best efforts. As a result I can only walk short distances, 15 minutes or less at a time. I have to wear special shoes and braces to support chronic weaknesses in my feet. I can't exercise like I used to or even walk my Golden Retriever Spike. Despite this injury being a major challenge, there has been a silver lining: I was forced to slow down my life, which inspired me to explore my passion for writing. With plenty of downtime, I eventually decided to start my own website and passion project. This has helped me pass time and feel productive, despite my current limitations. Instead of always thinking about my injury, I get to temporarily focus on topics that spark joy!

I have found ways to take care of myself in ways that align with my passions for beauty and wellness. Since I was born in the 90's I have also been exploring anti ageing, both mainstream and niche approaches! I am a big fan of face exercise and have seen tremendous results! I have also been having fun exploring fashion within my means, bags in particular! Since I cannot currently wear regular shoes, bags have become my main focus and a major source of happiness! I learned how to care for them properly so they stay beautiful for years to come!
